A good day moisturiser is a staple beauty product for most of us ladies (and even for some of you gentlemen!) But finding one that's both light enough to wear under makeup and yet hydrating enough to keep those dreaded patches of dry, flaky skin at bay can be somewhat challenging to say the least.
My go-to moisturiser for almost a year now has been the Organic Surge Blissful Daily moisturiser. This has been giving my skin all the hydration it needs without making my skin look or feel greasy.

I've really been enjoying using the Blissful Daily Moisturiser from Organic Surge which I purchased during their fabulous 75% off summer sale last year. I generally consider my skin type to be of the combination variety but it can also get very sensitive and is prone to dehydration. Needless to say, it's not the easiest of skin to care for! This moisturiser is suitable for sensitive skin and is dermatologically tested which is reassuring to know. This product also contains 99% natural ingredients including skin loving Rosemary and Lemon essential oils.
When applied to the skin, it feels soothing and absorbs very quickly; I'm usually ready to apply my makeup within a minute or two. This doesn't leave my skin looking or feeling oily and a little bit of this does go a long way making the 50 ml product rather more cost effective than one might typically expect. As I previously mentioned, this has been my go to moisturiser for almost a year now and there is still a little bit of product left to use up even now. Although I have occasionally switched to using other day moisturisers in between, this has been the one I've most frequently returned to and it's become my fail-safe option.
The only slight negative I really have to say about this moisturiser is that the inclusion of an SPF would have been a welcome addition in my opinion. I tend to opt for foundations with an SPF in so I'm not too concerned about it myself but I do feel it's something important to bear in mind about this product.
I've also been using the Organic Surge Super-intensive daily moisturiser at night and I've found them to be a very complimentary skincare duo. There should be a review of that one too very soon!
